England: A Journey of Academia and Architectural Admiration

My trip to England was purely academic, organized by my university to explore how education functions in the developed world. I had the chance to visit multiple universities as a faculty member, examining their curriculums, employability strategies, and the overall value they provide to students. It was an eye-opening experience that provided the academic connection I had been craving for, and every institution welcomed us with open arms.
But beyond the academia, I fell head over heels for London’s architecture. The city’s beauty and symmetry left me in awe; I even joked with a colleague that one could easily spend a whole PhD just studying the aesthetics of London’s structures. The cold weather was an added bonus, something I thoroughly enjoyed while wandering the city’s streets.
I also took some time to be a tourist, visiting the famous Madame Tussauds Museum back when it wasn’t as widespread as it is today. The London Eye offered a breathtaking view of this global city, capturing its vastness and vibrancy from above. England, with its rich blend of history, modernity, and academic excellence, left a lasting impression on me.
